Exciting!!!

Dear Poppy,
I am so excited about today. Something super special is happening and I get to eat the beautiful British biscuit that you sent for me!!! What a great day. Mummy told me that I can eat it, even though my tummy has been poorly. Did you know that when you are poorly you get to eat yummy rice and boiled meat that your mummy makes for you? I am trying to figure out how to fake this sickness so the yummy treats continue. Any ideas? If anyone can help me, I know it will be you. You are so wise to the ways of the two legs.
It is getting quite hot here and I am not very happy about it. I get all tuckered out just from my usual walk and play time at the park. This morning, I really wanted to be excited when I get home and run upstairs and say hello to puppaw like I usually do when I get home, but I was just too tired. It hurt puppaw's feelings, but all I wanted to do was lay on the cold floor and wait for someone to put the biscuit in my mouth. The second part hasn't happened yet, and I hope they don't forget. I'm still concerned about the senility being contageous, but so far, no sign of such, unless you count mummy's inability to do ANYTHING at all on Sunday, but puppaw told me not to worry because that was something else having to do with their being out till 2:00 in the morning.
